About Ludven
A small studio that builds in public.
Ludven makes small apps and games in the open. The board counts the days each one takes, a busy week stops the clock, and every number is public, the zeros too.
Why the studio exists
A lot of small software is built for months, launched to nobody and never mentioned again. Ludven works the other way round: each idea is built in the open, launched as soon as people can use it and pay for it, and then its numbers decide what happens next.
Most studios keep their misses quiet. We publish ours, next to the wins, because a public record keeps us honest and tells you what to expect from us.
How a box works

Built in the open
A box starts when its app is picked. The board counts the days spent building, with about two weeks as the aim and never a deadline; a busy week stops the clock. Build notes show what changed, and a launch date appears once there is one.

Twenty-eight days to prove itself
After launch the app is left to find its people. The board on the home page shows where each box stands, day by day.
- 03
A verdict
Doubled: a later box builds its second version. Kept: it stays as it is, and supported. Retired: it closes, and its page keeps saying what still works and how to get a refund.

The next box
The next box starts once the last app has launched. Each is a bet, picked because people already ask for the thing and would pay for it on day one, or a want, picked because we want it to exist. The board says which.
What we make
